Philosophy Students' Association: "The Dogma of the Conscious Self"

The Philosophy Students' Association is an undergraduate philosophy club at UBC. I have been invited to give a talk on one of my dissertation chapters: the "Dogma of the Conscious Self". I argue that the theory that the self is essentially conscious should be questioned, both on historical and empirical grounds.
